• In the evening, you may explore the local market in Katra and enjoy dinner.
• Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2: Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage

• Early morning, after breakfast, begin your trek to Vaishno Devi Temple (approx. 13 km).
• The trek can be completed on foot, by pony, or by helicopter (subject to availability and additional cost).
• Upon reaching the temple, participate in the darshan and experience the spiritual ambiance of this sacred place.
• After your visit, descend back to Katra.
• Evening at leisure; enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Katra.

Day 3: Katra – Srinagar

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Srinagar (approx. 250 km / 7 hours drive).
• Upon arrival, check into your houseboat or hotel and freshen up.
• In the evening, enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake, experiencing the tranquility of the water and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
• Dinner at your houseboat or a local restaurant.
• Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar – Local Sightseeing

• After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Srinagar.
• Visit the Mughal Gardens, including Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, each showcasing stunning landscapes and vibrant flowers.
• Explore the Jamia Masjid in the old city, known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere.
• Enjoy shopping in Lal Chowk and Dal Gate, where you can find traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs.
• Return to your houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Srinagar – Gulmarg / Pahalgam Excursion

Option 1: Gulmarg Excursion

• After breakfast, take a day trip to Gulmarg (approx. 50 km / 2 hours drive), known as the “Meadow of Flowers.”
• Enjoy a Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak for stunning views and possibly some snow activities, depending on the season.
• Take a leisurely stroll through the lush meadows and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Option 2: Pahalgam Excursion

• After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (approx. 95 km / 3 hours drive), known as the “Valley of Shepherds.”
• Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari, where you can enjoy breathtaking scenery and partake in activities like pony rides (optional).
• Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure from Srinagar

• After breakfast, check out from your houseboat or hotel.
• Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or exploration.
• Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, taking with you wonderful memories of your pilgrimage and the beauty of Kashmir.
